At Vital Vet we supply and recommend Royal Canin, Hills Science Diet and ADVANCE. We highly recommend a veterinary-only range of Royal Canin foods which have been scientifically proven to provide the best nutrition for your pet.

 

With so much variety in pet food available, it is important that you make the right choice when choosing a nutrition plan for your pet’s life stage and health requirements. 

 

We give helpful advice and can help you select the right diet tailored to meet your pet’s individual needs. If your pet is on a specific diet we can order it in  and have it for you the following day.

 

Weight Management Program

Our weight management program is a complimentary service that we offer to all of our patients. Dr. Barry Odesnik and our nurses design an individual program to suit your pet’s diet and your lifestyle to help your pet successfully lose weight. We pride ourselves on providing ongoing support and advice to ensure successful weight management. 

 

 

Dental Health Care

Does your pet have difficulty eating, bad breath or unpleasant teeth? There are many options available to help reduce these dental problems. Some of these options include: veterinary diets designed to clean your pet’s teeth, choosing correct chew aids, tooth-brushing or professional dentistry procedures under general anaesthetic. Our nurses are available to provide free dental care advice and can design an oral care program for your pet.

 

Hydrobathing

All nail clipping is complimentary at Vital Vet.

 

At Vital Vet we have a modern, temperature-controlled hydrobath and offer two hydrobathing options which are detailed below.

 

Deluxe Hydrobath :

A deluxe hydrobath is performed by one of our nurses. We use an all-in-one flea rinse followed by Aloveen conditioner to make your dog’s coat soft, smooth and smelling lovely! Aloveen is a specially formulated soothing, re-hydrating shampoo. We towel-dry them after and then apply the leave-on Aloveen conditioner which is formulated for sensitive skin.

 

D-I-Y Hydrobath :

We demonstrate how to easily use our hydrobath and you can do the bath yourself. We will set-up the bath for you (shampoo and towels are provided).

 

Medicated baths: 

We cater for all of our patient’s needs. A nurse can do the medicated bath for you with us supplying the shampoo, you supplying the shampoo or you can do the bath yourself (prices vary accordingly). 

 

 

 

Please note that unfortunately Viva La Pooch Grooming no longer operates from Vital Vet. Melissa, the owner of Viva La Pooch, has decided not continue grooming after giving birth.
